Dr Helen Sharp PhD is an experienced Equine Journalist working for several well-regarded equestrian publications, including The Irish Field, Breeding News for Sports Horses and Horse and Hound. She is also an Equine Therapist for some of Ireland’s most respected equestrians via Equi-S Therapies Ireland. Helen runs Equi-S Recover as part of her practice, which provides equine therapy treatments free of charge for therapy horses. She has a background in arts facilitation in areas of conflict and has 15 years of experience working across communities in Northern Ireland. Helen is a hobby breeder of Irish Sports Horses and combines all of these passions writing for Racing To Relate. Her talent for capturing in words what we all feel in our hearts so succinctly and eloquently is an immeasurable boon to our charity.
